Why and how are the data collected?

Some of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. In accordance with Art. 6(1) point (f) GDPR, this is in our legitimate interest. 

If you provide us with data, including but not limited to doing so by means of a contact form, they are collected by us. Lawfulness is established by Art. 6(1) point (b) GDPR.

Furthermore, we automatically collect data on access to our website using our IT systems due to our legitimate interest according to Art. 6(1) point (f) GDPR and store them as “server log files” on the website’s server. The following data are logged:

The server log files will be retained for a maximum period of 6 weeks at most and are erased afterwards. The data are stored for security reasons, e.g. to be able to investigate instances of abuse.
